God's protection for me has been marvelous. Yesterday I had to go to the Dr. and get some medicine; I knew it was a sinus infection; my face truly was hurting. So I am so thankful that's all it is. Brothers and sisters in Christ often share and encourage each other in God's love. Tiny clusters of believers form, heling up needs in prayer. It makes me feel God is healing the downtrodden. These are the helpers and prayer warriors. Are you one?

I'm thankful God helps me shed my pride and take the step to get help from my Dr. I'll be up and at 'em real soon. Just need the rest and His love to surround me and give me comfort. Be blessed this day.

Stay Close To God

He will see you through. Rely fully on Him. Call upon Him in prayer, snuggle up to Him and ask for His help with ANY problem you have! That's why He is there. His promises in the Bible are marvelous to read when you don't know what to do. But, this will be short and sweet, stay close to Him and He will carry you through!!!!! Happy Friday!

A Plate Of Cookies

My hubby has been counting carbs so he doesn't get the plate of cookies any more! I always enjoyed making homemade cookies. Now everything leads to diebetic issues. I know I can't eat sugar; it hypes me. I always felt like it was me expressing my love and concern for others through my giving cookies or banana bread. I felt like I was showing my love for the Lord!

Jesus demonstrated giving through his healing, his teaching, and the ultimate gift of his life. Love was the motivator of all He did. We, too, can love others by giving of our help to them. In Luke 6:38 we give, God will give back to us. Our giving doesn't have to be in large quantities. God blesses the small things that we do for others. Giving is like a boomerang; whatever we give usually comes back, just like the plate of cookies I would give!

Thank the Lord, our generous Provider has given us what we need. Help us, Lord to give back to you by giving to others, no matter how small the gift may be.

A day without giving is a day without love.

What Do You Do When You Want To Do Nothing?

I will be the first to say: I still do nothing. Sometimes women carry a heavy load and they're up to the level that we need a rest!

Our daughter asked me what I did yesterday and I said ZERO, nothing! She said she felt that way and is it wrong? Because I said if we don't take care of us, we would have nothing.

So, enjoy your DOING NOTHING DAY and forgive yourself. Just enjoy!!! I really believe God will bless you for taking care of yourselt instead of being a bother to self or people you are around.

Our Heavenly Father

Now that my birthday is over, I can concentrate on my beloved blog!

My eyes were opened to how truly wonderful our Heavenly Father is. Since that time, my relationship with Him has never been the same. In Him, I have found all that I have ever needed and now I know the real meaning of peace and happiness. Whatever it is you may be facing, Jesus loves you with a love like no other.

If you will draw close to Him by reading His words, speaking them, and believing them with your heart, then His promises and truths will begin to grow strong within you.

God is forgiving and merciful and we should give Him love and thankfulness for being our Father!

It really does reach you when you are older. It's pathetic.

It has given me a chance to write in my journal and do some writing on "Love" teaching.

That's the only "great" I can find from it.

A Great Way To Get Scripture Memorized

1. Find a subject you want to know about.
2. Look in the concordance for the one word that has that scripture you want in it.
3. Journal it.
4. Ask God to help you memorize.
5. Study by yourself and go over and over the scripture and the subject.
6. Put the scripture on a 3 X 5 card.
7. Let it follow you around in case you are in a place where you have to wait.
8. Say it over and over and finally put the card away and say it!!!!

I love God's Holy Word. It fills my heart with joy. And I love to memorize scripture. Getting God's help makes me feel like I won't have to worry dimentia as I get older.

YES.....I GIVE LOVE 24 hours a day. I feel that is God's love flowing from my desire to live for Him and give Him honor and glory. I love reading about love, teaching love, and living love. It's super great to tell family members I love them. We all need it. About once a week I look and relook up scriptures that teach love. It makes me feel so happy and well. How about you? What is happening to our creativity? How did we lose faith in our own natural talents tot hink, create, solve problems, look at things in new ways, use our imaginations make stuff from nothing, dream, explore, and invent.

As women, we must reclaim our innate creativity and self-expression.

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost.

Keep the channel open; live each day from your own creative source, above all else, keep the channel open!!!

God's Voice

How wonderful it is when God speaks to our hearts. He warns us of entrapments and consoles us in times o sadness. How satisfying to feel the warmth of His approval when we've done right. He wants us to stay in tune. Each time we listen carefully for His still small voice throughout the day, we experience joy and peace. Then we are thankful we listened. He helps us avaoid a lot of mistakes and hearttaches.

The next time you pray, remember SAL: Stop, Acknowledge Him, and Listen. Then we can go and serve.

I pray your Tuesday is blessed in a great way. I suggest Proverbs 3:5-6 to read and take it as a wonderful promise. Have a great day!

Find Answers

I would suggest look for answers to life's adversities. We live by faith as we are retired. I have redo the budget a kazillion times. It works out barely some times, but I must constantly find answers.

1. God supplies....we totally rely on Him.
2. We thank him fifty times a day for supplying.
3. We look for bargains, so we don't blow the budget.
4. We keep looking until we find the answer. There HAS to be one and there is!!!

Try it, you'll love it!!

Loving Thy Neighbor

Our neighbor to the right of us - Jose and Martha are great neighbors. Yesterday, my husband helped him to clip some limbs that were bothering the wires at our home. I think our husband is such a tremendous Christian for doing that. I can't even imagine how it gave me chills that he was so caring. What an outstanding Christian my husband is. But, God uses us to help couples and the only Pastor that we know of who is helping couples with disturbed marriages. Pray for us and know God gets the honor and glory and we pray for love for others! That's what it's all about!

We're very much in touch with our beloved daughter....she is on vacation this week and is unpacking from the last apt. she lived in. So, she calls her Dad and talks for hours and I'm the weekend calls which I adore and love. She makes our day. Please know, we are so glad we can celebrate her b-day this way!! Whooopee, wouldn't miss it for the world - all of us will get together Sunday and talk to her viaface time. Our Son has all the tech which is totally awesome! I love our daughter, Carie, desperately! I have given life to her and now she gives me life. I LOVE to talk to her. Yes that's me and her Dad and we are so tremendously blessed when we hear her voice and talk with her.

Oh, do I love parades. I won't be going to the Mavs parade for sure, but watching how they are preparing for it...expecting 250,000 people!!! Wow!!!

Are you going? Just be careful about the heat. When I go to our city's parade, I love to get up and get the candy thrown! But I love the celebration of a parade and our kids when they were in Band were always in parades. I would stand there and teary when our kids paraded by!!!! The Adolphus Christmas parade. They were always in that one! My hubby and I still go to parades in our city here; but this Mavs parade to TOO gigantic for us!!!!

I congrats them for sure. They worked hard to get the trophy and huge celebration! Have fun if you are going! Yippeee!!!!!

Where Have All The Respectfully People Gone?

Yesterday I had a stressful event happen and our daughter said "Mom, that's aweful." I don't ever go to the grocery store on Sunday, but I went to Kroger and all of a sudden they had an electricity blackout, I was stuck at the produce corner and I never saw such rudeness and griping. They were covering up the meat counter and refrig areas. But the lights were still on in the frontage. No one would move their carts and decided to not be too nice, because the employees of the store were literally taking something out of their hands if they got it out of the covered taped. It lasted exactly 20 minutes and the electric came back on so they gave us a little vegetable core device FREE and had to keep everyone for the demo the guy was giving for a veggie juicer. It was $29.95.

Ok, it was a catastrophe. So, my hubby and I have decided to shop at Tom Thumb; it's a bit more expensive, but at least the people are so nice and the aisles are wide and no one runs into you with their cart. Of course that's a rule they have to observe when the electric power is lost, but they need to train their employees to be a tad kinder. I know the Mgr. and he walked by and asked if I was ok and I said "Not really." And he apologized.

When I got home I looked up II Corinthians scripture on Grace. It's l1:9-10..."my grace is sufficient for thee; the my strenth is made perfect in weakness.......fir Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." Now, I'm okay, but we are still going to Tom Thumb.

Secret Gift. Someone placed a Lighthouse beautiful shaped like a ship at our home. No name, not wrapped, lovely gift. Thank you for the awesome gift. We are thinking it is someone who really misses our incredible Lighthouse Church services and/or who wants us to be blessed spending so many years Pastoring there. We are are grateful that you remembered us and pray God will tremendously bless you for this awesome gift. God keeps the record and please know it was placed on a day when WE NEEDED A BLESSING! The timing was perfect and it cheered us up. We miss the church drastically, but Pastor Jim felt it was time for his retirement and the Lord has given him rest and recuperation.

He forgives us in spite of it all!!!!!

Our Lord Jesus saw our wrongs but He forgives us in spite of it all. He draws us close to His comfort for any wrongdoings....no way could we forgive ourselves. There are times when I need to keep a steady study in His Word and I believe He convicts me of that. Yesterday I found my Bible on the bookcase at the end of our bed where I sleep. I would confess it was probably three days that I had picked it up to read His precious word.

He gently coaxes me. Thank You Lord for assuring me that all my wrongs, no matter how dark the stains, could be removed and my life could become as fresh and clean as newly fallen snow when He forgives.

Concerning me....I picked up my Bible and clinged to it, promising God I wouldn't let it go that long before I was seriously in His word, claiming His precious promises.

Do you ever go for days without picking up your Bible? I feel His forgiveness and know He will lead me to scriptures that I need this very moment. Our Lord will bless us for telling the trust and will still continually want me to praise His precious name. You turned me from wrongs, destruction and hopelessness to a life of joyous freedom with you and those Holy men of old that have written such soul enrichment in His word! How I do praise Your name!

Day Walker!!!!!

What is your favorite thing to do?

Do you sign up for Marathons?

Those are what Society is "dictating" now for everyone to do. Most of my friends are Marathon Runners. That's something I have never wanted to do.

But, then there are friends who just want to memorize scriptures or look for scriptures instead of being a Day Walker.

I have some friends who go to a church here in Irving and they are Mall Walkers. I walked once with them, but gave it up. guess I didn't have the right tennis shoes because I sure got tired QUICK!

Now, I walk with Pixie, our dog when I feel like it.

Here's a great Scripture: Psalm 92:1-2 It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your LOVE in the morning and your faithfulness at night. Lovely! Have a happy Thursday!

Today Is My Carol Day!!!!!!!!

But, I have decided to stay home in my 'jammies and lounge around. We've been through enough stress due to the tree disaster that I am just going to take a nice warm candlelight bath and have iced tea!!!! I'm used to the dark in the bathroom last week without any electricity and the candles sure worked wonderfully.

I cannot thank Angie enough for her comments because I also wanted to do some research on my 'puter and do some paper work.

My Carol Day will also consist of frying okra for supper and a hamburger patty. I sure do miss our "Taylor Tree" - our granddaughter would climb up in that tree and even made her a rope swing. Who would ever believe it fell? Winds were 60 mph that day.

How about you? Have you had any disasters lately? You have my utmost concern. It's difficult, but God will get you through. Rest assured! No one understands like Jesus. He is there 24 hours for you; just call on Him.

Set Us Free!!!!

Once my life was full of sin and darkness, but now He has forgiven me and set me free! Thank the Lord I don't have to worry about being good enough to be His child. He has already paid the price for me and has fulfilled God's laws and requirements in the way He protects me from sin and harm. His light shines through me, onto others so they may also turn their hearts to our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank the Lord He set us free!

It was our neighbors, Jose and Martha who helped us out immensely for our disaster we had when the tree fell on our house!!! They let us plug in to their outside electricity. It was the hottest week in the world. So ALL we plugged up was the frig and freezer. It was really stressful carrying a flashlight and walking by candlelights. I didn't trip once over the 100 extension cord! Praise God. We helped them out also, we got Oncor to come out to fix their electric. What a nightmare week, but God helped us to have patience and wait on the electricians.

Thank you for your prayers. We had a small fan. My hubby slept on the floor and I slept on the couch. God was with us all the time. At least our home didn't burn down!

Please keep on prayers. We need them and our needs met! Thanks! Very stressful!

One example I have an enemy (believe it or not) and she goes behind me and erases something I say which is awesome positive for Facebook; they take off my comment. Now wouldn't that make your stomach churn? Well, it's annoying.

I've been on tons of diets my lifetime! So I passed on a diet to my precious hubby and it's working. He is a riot on diets and so strict. We have had a blast getting it all organized, etc. I'm so proud of him I could just cheer him on with all the enthusiasm I have. He said that keeps him going. So far he's lost 19 lbs. Yea!!! Praise God!!! It was brought a lot of joy around our home. Keep up the great job Jim. I love you dearly for being so dedicated!!! You are awesome!!!! I love you because you are you, but I know you are serious about this and so tickled to be a part!!! Prayers work for this also! We do pray a lot to keep him staying on track!!! wooohooo

I know one thing; this was the best Mother's Day I've ever had in my years of being a mother and that's 39 years!!!! Both kids just spoiled me rotten. And my hubby is included in that.

My husband is extremely encouraging. When we have our coffee patio time each morning, he always asks me how is my blogging. My report is I blog with approximately four precious ladies (who I call devout friends now) and they always (& I mean always) have comments. Grant it, my blog was not set up for tons of comments because it was meant for me, being such a major public eye, to have a time that I could express encouragement which is my #1 gift. But now that I'm not in the public eye, I beg each one of you that read this to PLEASE MAKE A COMMENT either on FB or Blog.....I MISS YOU!!!!!

My husband and I are trying to make some sense out of communication and transparency that comes from peeps any more. What's wrong that that they cannot contact on their own? What has this world come to? I am so saddened over what Christians don't do now. It's as if there is no caring any more. He tries so hard to encourage me and our kids do also, but they think it would be a drastic mistake not having a blog. It has really gotten me down and concerned. I get my pat on the back from our precious Lord because I know He gives me grace to keep on keeping on. But, if you are out there, I want you to know I care abut you and would love to hear from you. I Truly Miss My Mom

My Mom passed away when she was 57; she would have been 99 years old this year, if she would have lived. I truly miss her. She was so warm and personable and so constantly asking how we were. She idolized my husband. I miss her more than anyone. She prayed for us and was always praying God would give me a Christian friend, who could be like a second, away-from home Mom. Of course I had Maxine for a while, but it's nothing like my Mom.

My heard is full of the exquisite joy that came thinking of my Mom. I honor her with being the greatest woman in America! God is so wonderful....I give glory, honor, and praise. Tell me about your Mom. What is or was she like?

After a three hour conversation one morning with coffee, my hubby and I decided you can't!

It's sad that people DON'T CARE, but it's the way society has gotten since we have all these ways to communicate. So, they'd rather say their comments or "like" on FB. Guess it's better than nothing. My hubby and I decided we like the old fashioned way of living; calling each other on the cell phone or land line.

Such was His forgiveness of sin, an act of Grace just as His forgiveness of His forgiveness of His murderers was all an act of mercy.

Discovering the depth of God's love was a turning point in my ability to be able to receive all that His Word says and knowing IT IS MINE because I believe!

Staying focused on God's Word renews my mind and continues to change the image I have of myself on the inside.

My favorite Psalm 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise."

Not until I fell on my ace did I learn to look to God for answers. Then I saw how broken I was; it made me accept Christ as Lord of any decision and actions because he restored me, making me better than I had ever been. I totally learned to trust Him for decisions and actions; He made me such a better person.

If I didn't depend on God, I know I couldn't make it. The thoughts in my mind make me doubt Him...especially if my questions are there that say why God?

Studying on LOVE is so great! We are helping couples understand LOVE in a marriage. I was not raised on LOVE, but it is something I made a big promise to God when I became a Christian, to memorize all scriptures on LOVE and then live it! Then when I married Jim...we committed ourselves to love each other 'til death do us part.

Hang on to God! He will give you LOVE, sweet LOVE; depend on God. He'll show you!

Living our faith can open the door to letting people ask you about the Lord. He'll give you simple words to express what blessings he has done for you. A Plate Of Cookies

I cannot return a favor to the person who helped me or gave me something, but I can pass the kindness on to someone else by doing something helpful for another. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus tells us that whatever we do for others in need, we do for Him. By expressing my love and concern for others through my making cookies, I am showing love for Jesus. They gave my hubby something and were moving, so I took them a plate. They were exhausted from moving, but could not stop thanking me.

Giving is like a boomerang; whatever we give usually comes back, just like this plate of cookies...always comes back full!!!! Enjoy your Thursday! I send my love and prayers!!!

James Robison Taping Of Life Today!!!!!!

Last night I had the privilege to meet a girl I have blogged with for four years. She is going to be on the James & Betty Robison's "Life Today" program. Oh, she did a phenomenal job giving her life's message. Plus we met some awesome staff members that put his program together. They taped four shows in one night, so there was no time to talk to him or Betty, but my hubby and I thoroughly were blessed seeing what happens beyond the scenes. And we met some great people who we sat by. Our friend Anne Jackson did an incredible job answering James' questions!!! We are proud to know her. She recently authored a book called "Permission To Speak Freely" (Essays and Art On Fear, Confession, and Grace). I have a book to give away if you should want it. Enjoy your Wednesday. You know there is nothing too hard for God to fix! Just recently our daughter became extremely busy at work and really we didn't have our always checking in with each other time....so I only got to talk with her one hour on Sundays. I sought the Lord constantly because I remembered the days I worked at a place where I hardly received a lunch hour and now the company is closed down. All that for nothing...so I understand where the demands are placed on staff! It's healing to get to connect with family because the Lord will give you many years of prosperity for staying close. I wouldn't trade it for anything! It is of necessity! Just stay in the Holy Word when the void is there and never forget what Jesus Christ has done to give us love and understanding with our precious kids. Even when we communicate with our Son also; it's so fabulous! I wouldn't trade it for anything! God definitely has given us wonders He has done, especially when we talk to our kids and hear how "cool" things are going! Same as God's Word...so "cool" and soothing!!!!

I love the beauty of fresh spring. The leaves (green) coming on the trees and the periannuals opening up as well as other planted flowers!!! I meditate on God's sovereignty and on the paths our life had taken through periods of summer, winter and then spring!

We have chosen to trust God through a year of heartache and uncertainty as we walk down paths with couples that have never been taught LOVE. We pray, God, give us hope in your steadfast love. There Is Nothing Beyond His Power!!!!

For me, God's Word is the final authority in all matters. I do not look to religious doctrine or how things turned out with someone else. My belief in healing is based solely on what God says in His Word. I know I have much more to learn and there are things I do not understand, but Iknow this for certain: the God that I know and LOVE does not cause me or anyone else to be sick. He is a compassionate, caring heavenly Father and there is nothing beyond His power!

Before searching the scriptures, I had a very dim view of God's promises and all that Jesus provided for me; I did not know the Word of God for myself...what a mistake! I began to see who I was in Christ Jesus and what my rights were as a child of God.

As a Christian, through my relationship with jesus, God made a way for me to enter into His presence, confident and free from all sense of unworthiness, guilt and condemnation. He had provided His only Son as an eternal payment for all the sings I have ever committed and also for the ones that I now ask forgiveness for.

How about you? Do you have a relationship with very many Christians? That sounds odd, but some women I know identify with non-Christians so that they can lead them to the Lord! That's awesome!

Ultimate Healer

I thank God for doctors and medicine; thee is no doubt that He uses medical science to heal. But I believe God to be the ultimate healer. John 6:33 "I have come to do the will of the Father." After reading this scripture, it became very clear to me that Jesus' ministry of healing and wholeness was God's will for me and fr all mankind. His ministry was God's will in action.

Jesus revealed the awesome beauty of what God the Father is like. I never read anywhere in scripture that Jesus put sickness on someone to teach them something or perfect their character. Only that He healed all that came to Him.

Mothers & Daughters

The relationship between a mother and her daughter is as varied, as mysterious, as constantly changing and interconnected as the patterns that touch, move away from, and touch again in a kaleidoscope.

I'm blessed because my daughter and I are extremely close. Although she has the character traits her Dad has, still we are just very connected. I see so many Mothers and Daughters who don't even speak to each other and they are always putting each other down, I get very upset when I see it, sometimes there is nothing that can be done about it. Stay close and always respect each other. It's a very deep love between us and we are happy together!

Together we form a chain, a chain of love reaching from the past into the future.

Do you spend time in God's Word?

As I have continued to spend time in God's Word and plant it deep inside me, His peace rises within me all on it's own. Fear will try to cme, but my spirit has grown stronger and peace quickly floods my mind. There have been times when I have been so calm that I have wondered, 'do I even care'? Of course, I knew that I cared and that I was obviously experiencing God's incredible peace right in the middle of the storm.

His promises stick with me. Read Job 11:13-18....if you devote your heart to Him and stretch out your hands to Him, if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm without fear. You will surely forget your trouble, recalling it only as waters gone by. Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will be like morning. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety.

Wow! A devastating earthquake. So sad looking at it on the news. Both of our kids have taken trips to Japan before. Lots of people everywhere and buildings so close together. They've brought me back small chickens because I collect them, so I think a lot of all the shops they had to find for a chicken!!! I was always so appreciative.

Do We Love God Because He First Loved Us?

Pass it on is what we as Christians need to do. I believe this is the message of Christ. We cannot pay him back for what He has done for us, but we can show our gratitude by passing on Christ's love and doing good for others.

I can't help but think of those who suffer because they don't feel the power of love from Christ or anyone! It's sad.

I am often so occupied with my day-to-day business that I forget that Christ wants close relationship with me so that He can show me His kindness. he wants me to find rest and peace in the assurance that He is near me in EVERY experience, both big and small, each day.

So it is important for me to start every day with an open Bible and to give the day over to the Lord before the busyness begins.

Jesus said, "Come to me all you that are weary and are carrying heavy budens, and I will give you rest." mathew 11:28

Recently I was "caught up" in a conversation with someone that wanted me to participate in what I call "being mean" like her behavior had been. I'm not judging; it was the truth...she was out to break up a marriage. It was tough to deal with because she doesn't see the damage she could cause. My heart is sad for her to even think of it in the first place! Ladies...that is wrong in any way and don't get caught up in it. Stay around happy people!! You'll feel so much better and do not have to worry about the question, Am I involved? That's a serious question because they will NEVER admit they are involved! Why own up...it will make her look bad. She already looks bad but she's too stubborn to own up.

My advice. Be happy someone is getting help with their marriage!!! And stay out of the problems; especially because you are not even involved!!! Just stay away from negative and hang on to happy that a couple will want to find answers.

Spirit Powered!!!

The disciples were ordinary people, living ordinary lives, until they met Jesus. At His last supper with them, Jesus promised that after His death, they would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that they must wait for the Spirit of Truth, who would guide them into all truth! John 16:13

It suddenly dawned on me that we feel the same way if we don't have God's spirit in our lives. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to be effective in our Christian lives. The power!!!! Oh yes!!!!! Call up on Him. It works!!

I truly loved the comment Angie made yesterday on my blog. I am still living on "yesterday's blessings" and I love it! Friendship is a gift and I appreciate that so much!

One of the greatest joys in my life is our friendship...I don't think either of us suspected, when we first met, that we would stand whre we do today....that goes with any friends....sharing the close harmony of our abiding friendship. I have another close friend, Geneva who always encourages me to share myself fully, my hopes, my dreams, and at this time she has to get so many things accomplished at work.

No one knows what path tomorrow will find us walking who to help in their marriages, but a lifetime friend will always encourage, pray, and share their joys, etc. That's our goal. (Jim and mine). God is so good. I am claiming His promises as we serve Him. Philippians says "He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Friendship makes us soooo much better!!!! Keep itup!!!

I write LOVE Sessions. I love it. Thank you, Lord, for calling me to explain love. Not a love because of what others do, but an unconditional everlasting love. I can only have the capacity to love like this when it comes from the Lord!

Of course He can show me how to care for the lovely but for those who aren't so lovable. thank you Lord for showing me how to take a firm stand for what is right and for helping me to disagree with those who do wrong, yet still care about them.

My call to love reminds me to love those closest to me, to cherish and treasure them and not take them for granted!

I must have a sincere, true love.

Let me love, not envy. Let me listen and care, not brag or put down.

Help me bear the griefs share the dreams and see past the faults of those who need love.

Attend To Anger

How does a frozen heart warm again? Where is warmth for chilled relationships? We run into that all the time....a couple who hasn't spoken to each other for weeks!

Only a warmhearted Savior could melt the permafrost of our resentments. He has endured the permafrost of eternal separation from God and risen victorious could move you to intentional, God-pleasing attitudes!

You have to confess your coldhearted resentments and for courage to resolve and address wrongs exactly to the anger so you can pass on.

Have you ever carried frozen anger? How did you get rid of it.

He has given me joy. Our daughter is really going through her busy, busy time at her job and I decided to NOT WORRY, I would have JOY that I know she will be alright. I can remember when I worked at a Company where they kept giving me so much to do, I just kept on going like the energizer bunny, but for some reason I always think her Company gives her a lot. She loves it! I always loved it also. But now I look back and ask myself why I did SO much! And God gave me joy to do it! But, I will admit God sees me through the fact that our kids enjoy their work and I do ask God to forgive me for "worrying" but I know they are joyous they have good jobs and are happy.

Do you ever look back on a job that just worked you a lot? I would love to hear.

Your love shines more than you realize. It shines on all humankind today. It is so wonderful how the Lord created everything and regulated by Him ALL the time. Great are Your works, dear Lord. Great is your love, O Father!!! Let it shine. Do something for someone today to show love. I want February (the most incredible LOVE month) to go out with making your life just shine so bright because all of us have the Lord's love and when it goes forth from Him, that's the key happiness in our lives! Practice letting your love shine and it will become a steady habit and you will be blessed! Definitely a word of encouragement.

Our Lord Is So Compassionate!!!

His compassion surpasses all! He knows us and feels our happiness or pain. I can almost sense His Holy Spirit grieving on my behalf. We just recently lost a precious Uncle who lived a blessed life Pastoring sixty-one years! Wow! How we praise the Lord for understanding us so well through this loss. The Lord is so compassionate, understanding, and acknowledging our needs during this time. And oh how we are grateful, Father, for your constant love and leading us through this grief.

Luke 7:1ff - .....and a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."

Telling others of God's love and how to love doesn't make me special. All the glory goes to Him, my Lord. I'm not serving according to my plans. It's because He chose me. Who am I? Only a little insignificant person in this great big world. So much can be accomplished for Him. No matter the cosst, help me always to be a servant. He can be pleased with me. Because some day He will say "Well done, My good and faithful Servant."

Are You Thirsty For God's Word?

God will prepare you for the dry times of life. Then when your throat parches and your spirit withers, drink the Living Word of God and be eternally refreshed!

Lord, thank you for your faithfulness and your commitment to sustain me through the dry, parched times of life. Increase Your grace in me to pick up the word and read it. Give me self-control and spiritual disciplines, and make me ready for each day that lies ahead.

Husbands are such a great help!!!!!!!!

Last night we had our devout friends, Geneva and Clint over for a super dinner. My husband was a tremendous help. I cannot thank him enough for peeling the potatoes, onions, etc. such a help....he even set the table!!!! If I were to count all the things he does to make things easier for me, I wouldn't have enough fingers and toes to count the appreciation I have for him being so great!!!

Those of you who know, they were the key "staff" at Lighthouse Church and helped us tremendously. They do love the Lord in a really blessed way. We cannot begin to tell anyone that we are grateful for them and pray to the Lord they get many victories in their lives for being so dedicated to still using their talents for to help the Church they are at now. They still look so very young and enthusiastic, loving, honoring Christ first in their lives.

Thank you, both, for the fellowship, fun, and the time spent to brighten our lives. May the grace of our Lord empower you as you love others.
